With its history dating back to the time of William the Conquerer in 1068, Warwick Castle has withstood almost 11 centuries of attacks, besiegement, damage and changing of hands, to become one of England’s most impressive castles today.
The giant pot below was called is considered Warwick Castle’s most important artifact. It is said to have belonged to an Anglo-Saxon legend called Guy of Warwick. This Porridge Pot was held in the same esteem as the Round Table of King Arthur during the 14th century.
